I did not know that Miele made a vacuum so I slummed and bought the Dyson Ball Animal (their most powerful) which I love so I cannot say it is better, just that it is the best vacuum that I have used/own. I live in a very windy area and have my doors and windows open all of the time in the spring, summer and fall. I also have electronic filters and can clearly see a correlation between the buildup on the electrostatic elements and the amount/frequency of vacuuming. Perhaps it is the erector set lover in me, but I think it is cool looking and thus fun to use.
