The TAD entry level 'Evolution' line amps include the 2 channel 500W M2500 ($24k) and the 4 channel 300W M4300 ($28k) class D digital amps. The M4300 allows external bi-wire with a single amplification channel per drive unit.

I am personally very interested in the M2500... I have read accounts that it has compared favorably to some very high end big buck amps. Any listening impressions would be highly appreciated!

Well, you already own a reference level power amp :)
I'd rather keep the status of your system and, maybe, introduce a high quality preamplifier whenever you'd like to add another source to your system.

Anyway, as I wrote in other threads, that power amp, together with its DAC/preamp, sounded amazing with the CR1s.

Yes that perked my interest :).

I love the idea of the system approach of an amp that was specifically designed to work with the CR1's. I consider the CR1's are the 'constant' element in my system and I will build everything around them to extract the best out of them, even if this means letting the beloved 911 go. It will be tough to beat however!

Nope, findable on the 2nd hand market in Germany next door. I paid 9K EUR ($11.2K) for mine (3 months old with 33 months of warranty left :D). Retail they are 16K over here.

Does anyone know the details of what class the M2500 operates in? I have read class D, but have been told by a dealer that it is actually a hybrid of class A and D. Thanks.
