Here's the 100 year anniversary concert, featuring Itzhak Perlman playing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, Billy the Kid from Aaron Copland, The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra by Benjamin Britten, and Short Ride in a Fast Machine by John Adams.

Recorded using the new 96kHz Dolby apodizing filter technology (one of the first Blu-ray releases using the system), the sound is very good indeed. Clarity of instrumental lines is through the roof. As one who was never bowled over by previous SFS multi-channel recordings on SACD (despite their receiving good reviews), I found the sound on this disc to be excellent. The video is tastefully shot and of good clarity as well.

Highly recommended if classical is among your interests. A great wide-spectrum introduction to various classical styles.
