I love those photos Joost. Thank you for posting. I would love to own an all TAD setup. I DO MISS my 911 and can't wait until the monos arrive.

The CR-1s driven by the TAD DAC-Pre and the Class D power amp were great, I think better than the Weiss-Viola setup I heard last saturday.
    All the best,

Thanks Valerio, I assume you heard them with the C2000 preamp/dac and the M2500 stereo power amp from the Evolution line?

Wow, doc, it says quite a lot about the TAD electronics if the $29k C2000 and $20k M2500 outclassed the $19k+$45k+$59k Weiss/Viola setup. Did you hear these in the same room/conditions?

Makes you wonder how good the $68k TAD M600's would be. Apparently these were co-designed by the guys over at Technical Brains, makers of some of the finest SS amps on the planet.

No, the rooms were different and I made the comparison "by memory". What I remember is that with the Viola set-up I though "mmmm, pretty good" while with the full TAD it was "wooooowwwwww".

I also have to add that the full TAD room was set by the chief engineer of TAD, who lead the demo.
    All the best,

    Valerio

Does TAD also do their own digital?
