Here's an opportunity to hear the virtuoso trumpeter Terell Stafford and the highly-regarded Newport High School Jazz Bands perform at the Newcastle Golf Club.
Mr. Stafford (http://www.terellstafford.com/) is a highly regarded jazz trumpeters and his latest release "This Side of Strayhorn" made many top 10 lists for 2011. He is a committed jazz educator and an inspirational musician as this clip from last year's Temple University graduation attests:
This event is an auction fund-raiser for the entire Newport High School Band program. The Newport Jazz Band recently competed at the elite Savannah National jazz competition and has competed multiple times at the Essentially Ellington competition in NYC.
