    Fellow Burmester owners on WBF?

Anyone else here own Burmester electronics/speakers?

I personally have a 911 mk3 power amp and a 948 power conditioner. Huge fan of the line!

    Hi Joost,

I traded in my 911mk3 stereo amp and I am waiting for my factory mono 911mk3's to arrive. Awesome gear.

    Hi

I have been a Burmester fan for a long time (early 90s) . My last system was all Burmester electronics (Preamp, amp, DAC, Transport, Phono Stage) . They remain IME among the best gear one can purchase. The whole line up is excellent well built and to last. When you buy in Burmester it is for the long runThe 911 was originally designed in 1991.... 21 years ago, . Service is exemplary and reliability stunning. They simply work and work under conditions that would destroy most other gears ...
the 911 MKIII mono, I haven't heard. I know you can easily bridge the 911 but I don't know what the monos are about... I am rebuilding my speakers based system and likely it will be mostly Burmester ... As for amps I have a monster non_Burmester in my sight depends on the speakers I will ultimately get ... else back to the 911 MKIII ... I am thinking every day that I should get an 808MK V (originally designed in 1980 !!!) and be done with preamps for the next 20 years

I thought I'd post a link to a mini review of the 911mk3 mono amps and 077 preamp. They look sweet

For those who would like to audition Burmester gear [myself included], where might be some locations in the US to do so? I do not see any US distributors listed on their main website.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

The best way to enjoy digital music reproduction is to never listen to a good analogue reproduction.
