My first post here and just wanted to say I think I have found a home :)
I am having great success with the AeroPress 1 cup coffee maker. In the what's best category, I highly recommend Sweet Maria's (in California) for beans. They also have a wonderful coffee library online. Burr grinder is a must.
Aside from tonearm VTA I think I spend more time setting up my coffee than anything else ;-)

Update--The Frigidaire died a premature death. They seem to have that problem. Recommendation withdrawn.

I am now using a Cuisinart one that makes a decent cup of coffee. The only thing I do not like is that it dribbles a little onto the plate when the carafe is removed. That is what towels are for, I guess.
