Just downloaded the 24/96 version. Sounds very good. I own the 70's LP and the 1998 CD, and this sounds better - you can hear more detail and each instrument more clearly.

On computeraudiophile.com it was stated that Bruce Brown did the digital version from the analogue master tapes. If so, kudos to Bruce. He did a great job. The digital download preserves that "live" sound the original LP had of acoustic instruments playing hard rock, as it were (see the title cut for an example).
