As the analog out of my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy) is crappy, I tried the Freedom to get a better sound.
The first thing that struck me was the horribly hyped bass.
Ok, equalize it off.
The EQ of my smartphone is limited to +/- 6 dB.
This is totally insufficient to compensate the horrible frequency response of the Freedom.
If you are a bass head, like the Dr Dre beats, the Freedom is a good choice.
If you like to hear the recording as is, find something else.
Looking at the graph on their website I can only say I should have known better.
