To think how far we've come in fifty some-odd years. Nowadays, myself and a handful of staff produce not only sound recordings, but multicamera HD video of classical concerts with stunning fidelity, all from minimal setup time and a streamlined approach. It used to take hundreds to make a record. Now a few dedicated people can do the same, at an even higher level. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Actually more than you think. MFSL, RTI, and QRP here and Pallas in Germany are very high quality pressing plants. And we still have quite a few excellent cutting and mastering engineers around such as Doug Sax, Bernie Grundman, Steve Hoffman, Kevin Gray, George Marino, Ray Staff, Tim de Paravicini, etc.

These videos were awesome!! Forgive my nostalgia, but I often prefer things more as they were, than as they are now. And, as much as we've progressed, sometimes I wonder if we haven't regressed with all of our modern era technology. Referring to free time and general peaceable living. Thanks for sharing.
