I didn't see a reference thread for tube suppliers or tube information on the What's Best Forum, so I thought I would contribute a list of tube suppliers and other tube related websites that I have gathered over the years. Just so you know, I have no affiliation with any link provided.

Internet tube suppliers are OK (if you don't mind paying retail)--but if you really want to find (and collect) NOS tubes, go to some hamfests and make some friends! They are easy to find and held all over North America starting in the Spring. Just Google "Hamfests in Chicogo" or wherever your from and a bunch should pop up. Don't expect to pick up the tubes there, most Hamfest goers leave their good stuff at home and come to meet people or unload their crap. Talk it up and ask about tubes. Inevitably, you will find some guy with "a garage full of tubes at home". Even better, Hamgoers for the most part think a tube is a tube and don't obsess over the relative sonic value and rarity of their tubes. Prices can be down right cheap. Heck, the first one I ever went to, an old timer GAVE me a Emitron marked grey-glass GEC KT66. It tested perfect and started a long time collecting obsession with these tubes. Most 'fests have one or two "tube suppliers" who provide tubes for the ham radios. These guys generally deal in bulk, buying huge lots of tubes containing TV, transmitter, radio and a few audio tubes and selling to the respective users. These guys can be a gold mine!
If you are a serious tube collector, this is the way to go. A lot more work than just ordering your favorite tubes on the Internet, but a lot more rewarding too.

I'm not gonna add this to the official list but if you happen to be in the San Diego area or if you are looking for something you haven't been able to find yet, you might want to contact this guy. Good luck finding what you desire and happy hunting!

Here's a snippet from the ad linked above...

I have literally thousands of vacuum tubes that I am looking to sell. I can sell these individually or in large lots as desired. Let me know what you are looking for and I most likely have it. Most are new in original boxes and are from all brands from RCA, GE, Raytheon, Tung-Sol, Western Electric, Mullard, Amperex, Telefunken, and many others. I have tubes of all types from hi-fi stereo preamp and output tubes to industrial use.

Please note: this link may not work sometime in the near future. If the link becomes dead, the seller has pulled the ad, in which case, please disregard. No affiliation.

Happy holidays to you as well, c1ferrari. I hope all is well with you.

I e-mailed this guy as soon as I saw his ad and he responded within IIRC, 15 minutes. Your post reminded me to update some things regarding this. He has no Ei tubes or TF 803s' :(. Mostly older type tubes listed in his ad.
