It took quite a while, but the video shows the Ikeda arm that I distribute and a nice 401 in custom slate plinth. Miyajima Labs Shilabe is mounted in the Ikeda headshell.
Looking forward to getting the new Ikeda 9TT mc cartridge. The Greece distributor is very happy with his.

Checked out the video. Is it my imagination or is your speed drifting at a fairly good pace?

The markings on the platter or something is off. I am going by the KAB speed strobe and my Feickert Adjust+ to get the correct speed. Both of those devices show dead-on speed while the strobe on the 401 is drifting significantly in the slow direction. Ultimately I always go with the KAB or my computer software program to get it just right and disregard the table's strobe. Not sure exactly why the table's strobe is so far off though.

nice table! most 401s had 50hz strobe platters the 60hz platters are rare, maybe yours is for 50hz.

I'm running the table as it was intended-220v/50hz into a Powertron 5900 AC Power Oscillator. Platter I thought is a 50hz platter, makes no difference-got the correct speed with my own devices. Probably should disengage the strobe.
