Thanks for the link Myles :) I just added a Townshend Rock 7 a couple of weeks ago. It's a really fun table to listen to. The trough took no time to get used to.

Thanks, Myles. Nice read. I am surprised you did not put the CJ gear on your list. Valin and HP, both, are impressed.

Did you ever review the CJ gear?

A NEW METHODOLOGY FOR AUDIO FREQUENCY POWER AMPLIFIER TESTING BASED ON PSYCHOACOUSTIC DATA THAT BETTER CORRELATES WITH SOUND QUALITY by Daniel H. Cheever , B.S.E.E. 1989, University of New Hampshire, THESIS Submitted to the University of New Hampshire, in partial fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of Master of Science In Electrical and Computer Engineering

I still did not have the time to read it, but from what I have read it is worth looking. The historical review of the evolution of the measurement techniques is really interesting and is the list of references is valuable to any one wanting to go deeper in these subjects.

That is a very comprehensive list!

On Sonus Faber, I have a pair of Concertinos that I use for bench testing. I have never found them to be a particularly good speaker. Are the Toy Monitors an improvement?
