My customer is in Europe so we put it in our system JVC HD-750, CB-III w/ Six Shooter. Picture is impeccable just as is the Oppo. Sound, out of the box sucked. Strident highs, one dimensional. I now have about 140 hrs. on it and, starting to sound real nice. Smooth, dynamic, three dimensional. It has a nice bite on the leading edge of transients without sounding harsh or unnatural. We're now going to compare it to our Elite BDP-09FD

Still no Dreadnaught III reviews? New thermal track transistors are some of the only really new innovations in amplifier technology in a very long time. I see that Classe has taken the approach of using a cooling system to maintain optimum operating temp. but terminal tracking transistors would seem to be able to accomplish the same goal without the fans.
