Chara is a new model from Rockport that will be available in about 2 or 3 weeks.

Chara is a 2,5 way type speaker with D30 tweeter and two mid/bass drivers.

Size like Alya, but looks like Avior - price around $15000.

Do you know if this speaker will replace the existing Mira II ??

I ask this because they are approximately at the same pricepoint of $15K roughly.

Similarly, is the Avior replacing the Ankaa?

Thanks

The topic title had me thinking that this was about Zdeno Chara, defenseman and captain of the (big, bad and Lord Stanley's Cup champion) Boston Bruins, particularly since the Quebec police announced today that they were not going to charge him with anything for an on-ice hit last season. And yes I am a Bruins fan. And Rockport HQ is in Bruins country.

Well this is interesting...I live in Vancouver... although when it comes to hockey, I admit to being one of those seen jumping on the bandwagon during the playoffs. Oh yes, I didn't participate in the post-defeat riots either. I think with Boston's win that leaves only the Canucks and the Sabres with longer Stanley Cup droughts...40 yrs and counting.

Getting back to Rockport, it would be good to see the website updated because as it stands I believe it's approaching 100% out-of-date.
