Beautiful. Absolutely stunning speaker...i have never seen the big boy, only the far older, lesser Merak Sheritan ii, and that was already pretty good. IMHO, i would only go up from my X1s to V-Series upgrade (sortuva a Alexandra Series 2)...or Arrakis. Is this your speaker being upgraded? Would love to know how it compares with Wilson big boys. Thanks for any insight!!!!!

Thanks for the photo! STunning. And i note 2 pairs of Transparent Opus speaker cables. Please dont tell me you have a sony walkman hooked up to this thing! ;) what is the rest of this system.

Having only recently gotten a taste of the Gryphon Colosseum which is currently warming up at the moment, i am amazed by this photo. The room too is partly at work here too

Congratulations, Wizard. Awesome looking speakers and equally awesome looking room. Btw, are the left and right speakers interchangeable for the bass drivers to fire outwards or inwards?

Great room (unhappily I never listened to the Arrakys) I am also curious about the remaining system. Do you have Opus interconnects?

BTW, I feel happy we share one thing - I also have six RPG diffusors exactly in the same disposition in the middle of the front wall of my room!

Beautiful room with great attention to detail. How about sharing some more pictures of the associated gear?

What sonic differences have you been able to identify with the upgrade?

Impressive. But seeing those beautiful Thorens Reference's triggers a question - are they originals or recently manufactured? AFAIK Thorens only manufactured a very limited number of Reference's in the 80s, but I have seen them advertised in the net in custom finishes with a delivery time of six weeks.

BTW, I found another thing I also own in this great system - the acrylic wheeled cart of the Audio Palette. I sold my Audio Palette to Japan many years ago, but the buyer did not want to pay for the cart, as shipping was expensive, and I still have it.

He won me over with the wrench with the digital readout. It just kept getting better and better.

i actually like the fact that the cables come up through the floor...i absolutely intend to do that when i am in a permanent place someday. i also was thinking to put the electronics behind smoked glass so that only the speakers show. Smoked glass so remotes still work, of course!!
