    By the way, when Coupling a speaker to a solid base, a foundation, a floor, a stand, with spikes, with outriggers, with rubber feet, with brass feet, you are at the same time Decoupling it.

    So, coupling is in fact also decoupling.

    That you want to decouple the speaker from the stand, and that blu-tac is a decoupler.
