I am currently using the venerable 380S pre-amp. As I am always looking to achieve the maximum in sound quality pleasure from my system... I am begining to wonder if there are any worthwhile upgrades to this fantastic pre-amp (380S) ? I currently have Pass poweramps (XA-100.5's) and their XP-25 phono stage. The XP 20 or the new 3 chassis XP-30 are on my radar. Does anyone with 380S experience care to chime in on how it would stack up against today's leading solid state pre-amp contenders ?
