What Regular Pressing LPs sound like audiophile pressings?

You mentioned Royal Scam. Do you find the Japanese pressing of Aja superior too?

The version of AJA I have is the Mobile Fidelity version and it was pressed in Japan. I don't have an original AJA US pressing to compare too. I have the current re-issue of AJA and it sounds really good. I still prefer the Mofi version. Gaucho is another that I don't have a japanese pressing of but do have the MCA Half-speed mastered (Teldec) version from 1980 I believe. That sounds Fantastic.
