We have two SCS subs flanking the rear our theater for our Wisdom theater (plus a 90i in the ceiling). The bass reproduction is quite amazing, reaching down to 16 Hz while maintaining significant output. Our configuration is "in wall" in that they are behind fabric cover for the theater. The application talked about commonly is to hide it behind a soft or underneath the theater seats and such.

Nice Amir, ever thought of adding another SCS? What material do you have surrounding the subs? I see you have duplicate speakers for movies and audio sources. Can you explain why and why you choose those specific models?

Thanks Jim. No, there is no temptation to add more SCS. The response goes down to 16 Hz. The last 6 db or system response is scary loud in that we only test it with the doors closed and no one in it! :D

We originally planned to put a Danley sub in there but ran out of space and don't feel we are missing anything. Space wise, there is not much wall ceiling space left for more subs. As you see, we have a parallel JBL system with its own independent set of subs. You can see a set of them in ceiling but there is a lot more in the rest of the walls.

The dual system configuration is actually not music/movies. They are designed for both. We wanted people to hear the two different presentations: one with planar magnetics and one with horns.

Our next project is to have the Wisdom subs play with JBLs at the same time. That would be a dozen or so subs all playing at once! We have to get evacuation notices sent out by the fire department before testing it :D. :D

As to why those models, the Wisdom system is all from them and those were the subs they were offering. The S90i is much larger and wouldn't fit in the back of the room so it went in the ceiling.
