Six Shooter + Marantz ud9004 / who needs HDMI anyway?

I luv the Marantz UD9004 to Six Shooter combo! Not only is the audio fantastic and on Blu Ray its everything that my prior Theta Compli balanced digital to CB3 was PLUS the additional sonic refinement you would expect from high resolution lossless, but the video picture is more clear, better definition and more real 3D like. WOW. And SACD and DVD-A clearly better than was with the Compli, too. A real winner!

Now that we have a report from Tyree (Norm) that he picked up a Compli Blu, I do think, from my Marantz experience, that the better power supply, etc will make it a nice cost effective HDMI transport for SSP HDMIs, like if the CB3 HDMI 1.4 ever comes to fruition. IF!

Marantz is making some great stuff. Not sure which path I will take.
