Yeah, this ain't the right place for it, but I just had to note the passing of two giants of the analog design world, Jim Williams (June 12) and Bob Pease (June 18). I worked with Jim briefly at Linear, and spent many an hour around Bob at various conferences and evening dinosaur meetings (pizza and beer get-togethers of analog guys -- "dinosaurs" in this digital age). A shock and a shame... My career went the high-speed route so I interacted less with these gurus than some of my buddies, but we all mourn their loss.
