That's pretty cool... Ken at Snap-tex did our whole studio. You would believe the length they go to to get perfect seams and dimensions. We have beveled edges. Highly recommended!

Even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while!
It is acoustically transparent speaker grill cloth. http://www.truetextiles.com/products...panel_fabrics/. Ours almost has the feel of stretched plastic than fabric and with beveled edges as Bruce mentioned.

I was just there. Sorry I missed you.
The JBL's are actually smaller than they appear in the photos. I was quite surprised.

Sorry I missed you Bruce. Had to run to our vacation house today to finish the sprinkler system in advance of the weekend "heat" (75 degree). Will be back tonight and in the shop tomorrow.
Something about the warped profile of the JBLs makes them look bigger than they are.

Congrats Amir,
Hopefully a trip in the future will bring me to the area to hear the theater. With your demo room much more available than others Keith's team has designed, I hope plenty get to hear the results. Speakers and subs are important, but I vividly remember the first impressions I had of a not yet fully optimized room of his design.
Best of luck in seeing the return and appreciation for what you have assembled!
Thanks Mark. Look forward to having you come and hear. Agree with most of Keith's work being residential, it is hard to go and hear the results.
In our case we have yet to have Keith up to do this hand optimization. The system is running using JBL Synthesis ARCHOS EQ currently with some hand tuning from our own designer post auto optimization. The system sounded so good that I didn't feel the urge myself to play with it or get Keith up in a hurry. Sometimes well enough is good enough! But Keith keeps reminding me the job is not done yet so we will for sure have him up to measure and optimize.

Industrial looking but elegant at the same time. That's something I could never pull off, cool!

It's impossible for stereo two channel mic/speakers to realistically replicate unamplified musical events. The resulting unrealistic reproduction must be accepted or leaves some desiring more. Some endlessly change components pursuing the impossible. With 10 being realistic replication, I generously give stereo a rating of 5 for "getting me there". I rate binaural via headphones 8. I pursue detail/tone over soundstage. Objectivists and Subjectivists debate an ILLUSION!
My best wishes amir, I am sure you will be successfull and have fun as well.
Looks great Amir. Sorry I missed this, I don't get to Seattle often. I will let you know when my next trip is.
