Here is the first tube amp I ever built. A friend drew a schematic on a note pad, I converted that to a formal schematic and this is how it turned out.

Wow, that is a gorgeous build!

In the first figure, what are the two black blocks on the left-hand chassis? The right-hand transformer I recognize, but what of the other (on the left) -- another transformer? Plate (B+) and filament transformers?

I like the way you oriented the chokes so as to minimize field interaction with the output transformers.

You really created a gorgeous amp there. Very impressive. Do you have any details on construction? For instance, where you sourced the parts, and how you did the metal and wood work.
