    Unfortunately the Carrera GT is no longer in production.

    I've never seen one on the street but did see 2 at a couple of shows.

    Love these cars, only thing is I'm not sure where you can stretch their legs, except maybe in the Costco parking lot

    When I had my 1999 996 I would take it out U.S. 50 east of Carson City and let her run a little bit. The fastest I ever took up to was 140 and she could easily go faster. The faster the car would go the more stable it felt,she would squat down. I loved the sound of that engine.
    I drove up to Reno in 1973 and there were no speed limits,going thru Washoe Valley on 395 at a 125,I must have been nuts,but I was only in my teens. There are a couple of Carrera GT's running around here,beautiful cars.
