Interesting that What's Best Forum was launched in April.

The audio/video website, Audio Aficionado was launched April 2009.

Current stats from that website:

Threads: 7,290, Posts: 153,434, Members: 11,429
Some interesting comparisons:

Our worldwide traffic ranking is 18% higher than theirs. Their one month growth has been -6%, and 90 day, +30%. Ours for corresponding periods have been +30% and +40%.

As I type this, there are 150 concurrent users here, vs 112 there.

So a lot of credit goes to you all which use this forum far more than their members do.

It's interesting that on the other forum, under manufacturers, it's absolutely dominated by McIntosh with 1,349 threads and 38k posts.

Its founder as well as most members are McIntosh owners

Are they nicer people? :) ...Or they simply luv their McIntosh apples, I mean electronics? ;)

P.S. Is there a Krell club? ...Lyric? {Remember from the film "Taxi Driver"?}

Impressive growth rate, but there's no way you'll have 10K+ members on 04/20/12.

How about a friendly bet, if you have 11,429 members or more by 4/20/12 I'll donate $100. to
your favorite non-profit group, if not, you donate $100. to my favorite non-profit.

Ben,

I fail to see why we need to be in competition with ANY other website. We offer unique content and discussions about other topics besides audio. Why is it such an issue to you that we compare to that other site?

Ha, ha, that's an understatement Steve:rolleyes:

Last time I was over there in the Sonus Faber forum, I had my usual flame suit on but I still got burnt up by all the Mac users.
IMO, Mac and SF, particularly the speakers that I am running, are a VERY poor match....After my post at Audio Aficionado, my flame suit caught fire and I was engulfed almost immediately:mad::mad:

I think I'm done with the MAC lovers club....oops, I mean the AA forum:( :p:p
