I must admit that I am a Grisham fan and have read every one of his books. His early novels were by far the best with many over the past several years being only so-so
Along comes his latest, The Confession.
This book is spell binding and impossible to put down. The subject involves the death penalty in Texas and how a young innocent man is wrongly convicted of rape and murder of a young high school cheer leader with whom he went to school and spent 9 years on Death Row while the legal system in Texas wound its course and the true killer went free.
This book will bring shivers to your spine and I promise that it is impossible to put down. I read it in a day. It will make any death penalty proponent think twice about their convictions.
Probably one of the best books I have read in a year.
Highly recommended.
