Yes Mark they pulled the plug on the Geddes forum, I asked if they could give a reason in the thread above yours here and there are 43 views of the thread but no answer, so I guess thats how things are going to operate here.

"They pulled the plug"? "...operate here"? Steve's explanation seemed clear; Dr. Geddes is busy with his own work and plans to open a forum on his own website. Having been involved with several fora over the years, including as moderator, I can say it takes a lot of work to stay on top of things, and to deal with the wide range of responses. It looks to me like Earl simply wants to focus his efforts. In any event, WBF has little to say about it, and Dr. Geddes may well have asked that there be no big announcement. I think your anger may be misplaced... - Don

My apologies, sir. So, the implication is that Dr. Geddes did not want to leave WBF but the site owners "pulled the plug" and forced him out? That would be much different than the interaction I have had with them over the past year or so...

Oh well, I guess I can't respond to the question about how I justify SPLs over 120 decibels...
You can Mark. Just create a new thread, and cut and pasted what you want to quote from the other thread with a link to it for history. You can post it to the General Audio Forum.
