In this day and age where artist cover other songs quite a bit,and yes covers have and will continue but what are let's say ten songs that should be left alone? ..Mona Lisa[Nat King Cole]..My Girl[The Temptations]..For Your Precious Love[The Impressions]..Ruby[Ray Charles]..Wonderful,Wonderful[Johnny Mathis]..Let's Stay Together[Al Green]..Please Please Please[James Brown]..What A Difference A Day Makes[Dinah Washington]..Ain't Too Proud To Beg[The Temptations]..Let's Get It On[Marvin Gaye].

Isn't it interesting when sometimes the cover becomes more popular than the original?

Ridiculous. The entire genre of jazz is about covers and interpretations of other artist's work in the unique style of the performer.
 
The songs named here are just my choices,the point here is to name any that you think should be left alone,to each his own.
 
I cannot imagine enjoying covers of my favorite Eagles or Elton John songs.
