JR (ha ha!), what size is your screen?
I’m soon to reinstall my 1998 vintage Barco 1209s CRT PJ, and I’m sticking with a 4:3 88” wide X 66” high screen.

Hey! How's it goin?

Cool your reinstalling.

Mine is a Stewart @ 57.75" x 136", with auto masking.....

The following is an older pic before all of the front end audio changed.....

I have plenty of 4:3 material to watch, almost half my catalog, so I’m happy not to go 1.85 or 2.35 WS.

I watch ALOT of old films, even silent films in that ratio. I really enjoy them. But, i must admit, I'm also sucked into the wide screen presentations. But unlike many, I absolutely enjoy the old films and, even some of the foreign or modern "Art House" films that are sometimes presented in that scope.
