Recommendations in the >200w range? Thanks

I don't know of a single amp that meets those criteria. Do you mean Class A over the whole 200 watts or something with 30 watts Class A going to AB? There is one SET (the NAT Magma), that claims 170 watts without feedback. Maybe the largest OTL from Atmasphere or Joule Electra (but into what load?). For Solid State, I am not sure I know any amps that are true Class A to full rated power and have zero feedback (or any at all...Maybe the biggest Pass Amps but I doubt they are zero feedback or true Class A to 200 watts). A 200 watt Class A needs to be HUGE and will consume probably 1500 watts continuously.

The issue is with change in speaker impedance that changes

The boulder 2160 and 3060 state class A with a special bias to manage the heat. 2160 states up to 600w into 8 ohms.

Isn’t the Ypsilon SET 100 Watts no feedback

Big Atmasphere amplifiers do 200 WATT class A no feedback

The Lamm M1.2 is over 100 watts class A with very little feedback

The Boulder I believe use feedback , though great amplifiers heard with Wilson XLF stunning , I believe they use some sort of plateau bias system, so are not running as 600 watts class A all the time, but just keep the quiescent current ahead of the musical signal, so that is feedback though probably feed forward ?

An ambiguous question that can generate hundreds of meaningless answers. Are you referring to class A up to full power at 8 ohms, zero global feedback or no feedback in any stage?

sure your name is not 'caesar'?

it's his type of question.....

OTOH, if it's not Caesar then welcome to WBF. and it might be helpful to explain the context of use for this 'unicorn' of an amplifier.

+1 lol

Did the guy get banned ?

Block Audio?

I am always baffled when I learn of a seemingly serious product that I don’t think we (the collective we) really knew of before.

Has anyone auditioned Block Audio amplifiers?

I've seen them (but not heard them). The stuff is impressively built.
