I an using a number of Alpha HC Power Cables and Alpha NR Cable in my audio system. Tonight, my kid accidently spilled soda (coke) on two of the power cords. I wiped it clean with a damp cloth.

My question is would the fluid get through the outer shielding materials to the inside such as cotton materials? Should I be worried?

All of our cables are hermetically sealed. The connectors are also potted internally to protect the wires and contacts from corrosion.

Thanks Caelin. The spill was not at the connectors' ends. Great to know fluids can get pass the outer protective materials. :b:b:b
