I went to the AK-Fest 2010 this year which was only a 30 minute drive from my home. Had a chance to hear some reel to reel, compressed digital on something which looked like a i-phone, CD players and of course turntables. Most of the TT's were not being played, except for when you went into an AK's member's room, then you had at least a 50/50 chance of hearing spinning vinyl.

If you can't beat them, disguise yourself to look like them? These were cute, looked like mico 45's or something, but they were just cool looking CD decals.

These horns with tube amplification made Stevie Ray Vaughn sound like Jeff Beck, which was a good thing in my opinion.

The horns were just Plain good they sounded like we were listening to MUSIC, not a system. I respect the wood work in them as a wood man !
