When our favorite seafood gets flooded it's not the best sign.
Hang on tight Ron, play some Blues before the light goes out.
Hopefully this won't last for long.

That shack is located in a tidal plain area so peak surge and high tide timing is crucial.

Prevent it from happening again and again and getting worse each time. Reduce Global Warming by emitting less CO2.

When I hear people say those east-coast hurricanes last year were an anomaly, I just point to the 2 major dumps of snow on the east coast this year. No anomaly. This is only the beginning of much worse things to come. Each of us must take action or the economy, infrastructure and ultimately our security and the security of our children is in jeopardy. The economy took a $200B hit last year because of severe weather. It may be $300B this year. How many deaths from wildfires and hurricanes and extreme heat? Too many.

...And you didn't mention another very important element for the survival of our children in schools ...
We won't go there, of course.

We are living tough times, and the climate is not always cooperating in making things better.

I think this storm won't last though, but strong enough to warn people from the East side.

* We just went through some strong winds ourselves on the West Coast, now today it's calm.
We lost power here, but only shortly.
