So I've noticed I can make it record something that is "On Demand" if I go to the program in the guide. One time maybe I couldn't? Anyways everyone once in awhile I have a show I want to watch and have it set to record, but it instead skips it because it is "On Demand". What I'd like to do if figure out how to skip that process and just make sure it records... can I disable "On demand" or turn off the Hopper's internet, to force it?
On Demand doens't let you fast forward n stuff. And they have commercials that are like structured ten times more annoyingly than regular viewing live. I got the Hopper because it's suppose to "hop" over commercials... when it's a DVR recording... it doesn't do that but I can manually do it... except on the On Demand thing.
Does Xfinity or DirecTV have this annoying crap? It's not like I don't see tons of commercials ever... but it feels like I'm being forced back in, after paying to get out of seeing every single one.
