I am the lucky beneficiary of Mike L.’s decision to purchase one of the AS 2000s and, as a result, sell his old gear. I just finished setting my new Wave Kinetics NVS with a Durand Telos (composite wand) and an Etna SL. I still have some tweaking to do but this weekend will be just about listening to records.

Thanks Mike and Mark for helping me set things up.

looking good, David. congrats and enjoy...... I know you will.

I know you used the 'spills' descriptor in jest, I would rather have kept both these things but had to fund my new tt. both this tt and arm are top of heap stuff.

Yes. As Chris knows, I stole that line from a Grateful Dead song.

You are taking quite a step up with the AS 2000 and you will have a NVS to compare it to. The best of both worlds!

On this occasion at least, you REALLY can be sure of the description “one careful owner” .

Not only is the equipment in mint condition but Mike spent A LOT of time meticulously packing things up. We have also talked on the phone several times during the install process.

Win win win win.

Congratulations!

(If Mike takes care of his equipment the way I think he does you have just purchased essentially NOS! :))

That is a sweet looking analog setup. I bet you are getting killer sound. Congratulations!!

Have you experimented with cartridge loading given the new found resolution?
