Hi All,
I am looking for a top notch cd transport to feed the Aries Cerat Kassandra DAC. What experience do you have with either of the two mentioned ML cd transports? How do they compare to the better ones from C.E.C or Metronome (for example)?

Pretty sure none of these will match the Empirical Audio Synchro Mesh Reclocker. Go all in with Steve, get the Dynamo, the SMR, both the Ref and standard SPDIF Cables from him. It really is that good, and you can use whatever SPDIF digital source you want. They make no difference at the input of the SMR, and that is really something I think.

I am using a cheap half width Shanling CD Player as transport into my SMR, and it is pretty perfect to my ears.

Your Aries DAC likely has isolation transformers at the digital inputs, but you may want to make sure. If your DAC does, then opt for the OTL mod for your SMR.
