And Steve was dead on about Gary Oldman, best actor for drama.

I did not see any of those films, I've only read, saw the trailers. This year's trend was "black" ... the color of women's dresses.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri...

As soon as I saw Three Billboards I felt it was the years best picture. This is only the Globes, but I still think it is Oscar worthy.

Best Actress Frances McDormand, and Supporting Actor Sam Rockwell were good picks IMO also.

I can't dispute your feelings as Francis McDormand is a superb actor. I've never seen her dress up or wear makeup. As the song said "this is me"

Sam Rockwell is a deserved winner but TBH I loved Margot Robbie in I, Tonya

No one will beat Gary Oldman this year

Yes Margot Robbie was great, I agree, and yes Oldman is a sure thing.

Just remember, the Globes don't mean much in the awards race.

And let's see what DDL does first in Best Actor.
