If this were about some new XLR or SPDIF technology, this might get more comments. Most (not all) folks on this forum are all about 2 channel audio (you and I not being one of them) while HDMI includes video. HDMI has a well deserved bad reputation. Many believe that HDMI stands for "High Definition Media Interface", but in fact, it actually stands for "Hollywood Doing More Interfering".
