Just bought a second-hand Lexicon MC-8. It hasn't reached me yet but I am already familiarizing myself with the user guide.
It puzzles me that there are two places in the configuration menus where you can set up a stereo input as analog bypass, the main advanced menu and the mode adjust menu.
Any idea on the rationale of this?

PS: should be the same for the MC-12 and the MC-4.
