These three amplifiers are direct competitors: Class A, triode, push-pull, about 200 watts.

How does the Jadis JA200 Mk. II sound compared to the CAT JL7? Compared to the Ayon Audio Orthos XS?

What speakers were the amplifiers driving in your comparison?

MadFloyd, did you ever have an occasion to audition Jadis amplifiers against your JL7s?

Ron, I would highly doubt anyone has actually done this comparison. The Jadis 200 Mk2's are pretty new on the market...plus the CAT does not ( unfortunately) have wide distribution...( Ken seems to like it this way:confused::confused:)
If I were to question the order of these amps regarding SQ...I would probably place them as follows..1) CAT JL 7 ( with Black Path), 2) Jadis JA200 Mk2's and lastly 3) Ayon Pathos XS. I could easily be persuaded that the Jadis may sound better than the CAT.
However, as I continue to state, the ONLY way anyone will really know how the differences appeal to them is to try each amp in their own system and room.:D

I had the Ayons for a good few months. PM me for some thoughts if you like.

Maybe you should have had an invite to listen as I think you may have been in the country at the time. But TBH I had no idea you would be interested in them.
