Universal Transport - Whats out there?

Hi all,

Im interested in getting universal transport as Pure Blue Ray is something im keen to explore.

Wondering what people are using or know of.

The list I know of are

JMF 3.7 - A LOT of $$
Wadax Atlantis Transport - As above
Oppo
MSB

Any others people are aware of?

I have an Oppo 105D and have never been able to fault it, I think for the money they are a great machine

MSB will launch a Reference Series universal transport soon.
It will have the same external look as its Reference DAC.

Trev, one can use this Oppo as a purely Bu Ray music disc transport to send data to a standard dac?
What sort of cable is used?
I've got a whole bunch of Steve Wilson prog remixes w bonus BR discs

Yes but.....................................typically, standard DACs are stereo only.
What sort of cable is used?
RCA S/PDIF

esoteric, denon also make universal transports.

and checkout the new sony ubp-x800 which also plays 4k uhd discs.
