Looking at the new CJ web site the Classic 2 has been eliminated. It's now in the vintage section along w/other discontinued CJ gear.:)

yes unfortunately the Classic pre is no more...
it was on cj's website only until stocks last in the Nth American dealer network. it was discontinued way before in the int'l markets such as Aus & Asian regions.
it was no doubt one superb preamp for the value. not too far away though, cj will put out another classic pre but it won't be anywhere near the price point of the original classics. these are going to be top high end products competing with the sota so I'm afraid price wise, these new cj units coming out in 2018 are going to be at another level altogether.
let's see what they come up with. I'm actually waiting for a Cav45 in SE version or perhaps with an additional pair of EL34's to opmph up tge power output a bit.
