Just tell the cab to drop you at The Adelphi, Coleman Street. Highest concentration of audio stores in spore located at The Adelphi

Don't expect too much as far as SQ is concern. Few good shops to visit . Hifi.com.sg - AN, Avartgarde, Raidho. U can visit TK Han- Gryphon, Jadis, CH Precision . There have Magico there as well but I m not sure it's properly set up

My guess is that the Adelphi represents the highest concentration of audio stores in the world, with the possible exceptions of a couple of high-rises in Kowloon. I've been there five or six times on semi-regular trips to Singapore since early 2015. Prices in Singapore tend to be on the high side compared to prices in the United States, Europe, and Hong Kong, even after the Singapore sales tax refund that short-term visitors can claim.

Do have fun, but the only listening room I heard that was properly set up was at the Magico store. The other rooms are all tiny and have giant speakers crammed into them. Expect a significant percentage of salespeople to question you about what system you have now and what you do for a living.

I should add that two of the gentlemen who work at the Magico/Soulution store are very nice and very knowledgeable. If I lived in Singapore, I would have bought a pair of speakers from them.

Hi guys spent a very interesting day

I agree the Magico shop guys were brilliant and spent a lot of time with Cecil

He was able to demonstrate the Silbatone amplifiers and beautiful phono stage wow!

Also heard Horn speakers from a Poland and lh labs dac

Also and by shear luck heard a JPA 66 at modular audio with new Galder Bergman air suspension and Odin arm

This was a beautiful musical combination

The altered repro adjustment made big improvement on old jazz records
I was very impressed even more by the price

The Galder seems a bit of a sleeper

I went looking for a phono but I like the look and sound of the bergmann and takes 4 arms including the Odin arm with air suspension

Some photos to follow

Was the Bergmann and the EMT phono with the horns universum? What amps were driving them, Silbatone? What did you think of those horns?

I thought the horns were very interesting

They weren't properly broken in, but piano and voice and timbre were very good
Not edgy

Had to slump it with Silbatone 300b and their pre

Remember their 300 B has current driver !
