Very very impressed David, I love the corner detail on side supports. You have a phenomenal minimalist design ethic, Mies would be proud.
I am so stoked to see the culmination of Ron's arduous but surely worthwhile endeavors! Add another check to the punch list!
The black shelves are carbon steel with stainless as option, the rest is all stainless. Design is completely modular, there are 3 different shelf heights you can pick and choose any combination up to 5 shelves and modify at any point in time in the future too. You can even split the rack into two all you need is a set of the short bars with feet and caps for the plate, there's no obsolescence with the Nothing ! I'm traveling now and don't have any good pictures just some I took with the phone but this will give you an idea of what it is.

Superb choice sir,
The carbon adaptor seems ideal and JW is the best living Decca man.
Kind regards,G.
David, I happened to click on the link in your signature and came across these two photos of your American Sound turntable. I noticed the two rubber drive belts and then saw from the next photograph that you have a flywheel attached. I do not see this feature in your new AS2000. Is it not necessary in the new design? In addition to stabilizing the speed, I would think that the equal force of the belt pulling in the opposite direction would be good for an equal load on the bearing. My SME table has a rubber band applying an equal force in the opposite direction on the platter support, but that might be for the suspension to work properly. Can you talk a bit about this subject and why you don't have such a flywheel on the new table?
