Ran into Jimmy Page at Whole Lotta Foods in Kensington yesterday (he lives not far, good to see him on a healthy diet after all those years). Asked him if I could take a pic, he said No, Sorry. Looked at my disappointed face and said sorry nice to have met you but I don't do pics.

Damn he did not recognize Bonzo.

Too bad Ked.
I've got a whole heap of photos that Jimmy was only too happy to take w me.
Maybe he thought, hmm Bonzo is dead, you must be an imposter?

You got pics? Maybe after his pics with you his levee broke and he won't do it any more times

If Jimmy Page see
Zero-distortion.org
He will ask you to do one picture with him

He probably was in a bad mood after seeing the prices at wholefoods

Maybe not ask him why the recent Zep remasters were so poor, and whether he should have left mastering/mixing decisions to younger, fresher ears.

He has a fabulous record collection, too bad he didn't invite you to see it!

The new Pallus pressed vinyl remasters were much better than my original pressings. Spirtomusic, what pressing do you think bests these new remasters?

Quite like my Japanese pressings.
LZIII is a revelation compared to my poor UK 80s reissue.
I just struggled a bit w the two reissues I've heard.

love the Classic Records 33's, but especially the 'Classic Records' 45rpm box set.

even better; my -3- 15ips 1/4" master dubs.

have not sampled the Pallas pressings.

Yes I heard, audiophiles here see him at vinyl fairs searching for rare blues stuff (though I bet he is secretly looking for quality Zep originals)

But the food is so much better than that sold at other London markets . . .

I know I eat there though the fresh and wild at Piccadilly used to be better before wholefoods took it over. The hot foods at Kensington is quite junk these days

Please give me the catalog number from your Japanese LZIII so I can track down a copy and see for myself.

Watch "It Might Get Loud" and you'll see his crazy collection of blues 45's. It's out of this world.
