The last few years I'd say around 150. This past year more like 300.

I'm usually around the 100 mark. Some years a little more, some years a little less.

Wilson WP8's in Carmen Red, Pass Labs XA-100.5 mono amps, Pass Labs XP-20 preamp, BAT PK-V5 phono amp, VPI Scout with HRX Mini Feet, TTWeights Outer Ring and Center Weight, Soundsmith The Voice Ebony cartridge, MacMini, Amarra software, AyreQB-9 DAC, Musical Fidelity X-CAN V-3, Sennheiser HD-535, Adona Rack, SRA amp bases, PS Audio Power Plant Premier, Mogami interconnects with Neutrik XLRs, Douglas speaker cable, GIK Acoustical treatments.
50 - 100 -- now that my analog system is more or less locked in, it's about 70% CDs (for server ripping), 20% vinyl, 10% hirez downloads. Would be happy to drop CDs altogether if there was a download alternative for the stuff I want.

I voted 20-50, but that's due to budget limitations. In an ideal world, I'd buy maybe 10 LPs per month. All on vinyl, natch!
For twenty years i lived about a 16 1/2 minute walk from two world class record stores. Between the two stores (Sam The Record Man and A and A's) there was five plus floors spread and several acres of floor space and several more that were much closer. :-) so 100 per month might be closer!

I love the smell of vinyl in the morning!

In 2011 I bought a pristine LP collection having more than 600 LPs, mostly jazz - about 70% still not listened - and about 50 CDs.
Hi John79253
It got worse around 1986 when a girlfriend introduced me to yard sales. Mint LPs for a quarter or dime? The record collecting hobby has ruined many pairs of knees. Shortage of space pushed me into buying a house.
The record collecting hobby has also ruined many backs! ;-)

Bought last year? Over a hundred LPs, about 60CDs, don't ask about the individual downloads. Percentage listened to, excluding the demo/QC checks, about 80%.
Listening time is cut for me this time of year. Got to make the most out of the precious few cool weather months for Golf. I'll probably start buying software in full swing again in mid-March or April.
Less than 12 now (or perhaps few dozens per year on average, but only in the last few years).
[Libraries, and etc....]
* But I used to buy roughly 50-100 CDs (brand new, and among many Imports) every single month for years. Along with SACDs. And few DVD-Audios, and a lot of DVD Videos.
And LPs wasn't so much. Except for second-hand Record stores. And when I was much younger.
Now I buy Blu-rays though, quite a few too.
P.S. I voted 'Less than 12' because it's true for this past year; 2011 one, and alone.
