I just re-discovered my analog...

I may have passed the 'stoopid' online test, but boy did I flank this one for a long time... I've always had some residual hum from my phono, audible at high volumes; I just swapped the Siltech SPX-10 out in favor of the SPX-20 and then plugged it into the "digital" outlet of the MIT distributor - and all hum is completely gone.

You can imagine the difference in the bass, smoothness and low level resolution. Happy New Year everyone...
