Hi

One of the strongest Cyclones ever. Cat 5 are rare and extremely dangerous. It seems to be headed toward Florida. If it gets there unabated, the amount of devastation could surpass and by far what Harvey has done in Texas.

It might be CAT 4 by then . still overly serious.
Irma spared us here in Haiti but I fear the worse for South Florida. My prayers are with them.

P.S. To make matter worse there are two more storms following the same path...

I opened my newspaper this morning and I was reading some articles on the latest global news (Globe & Mail). ...Three cyclones in the Atlantic, an earthquake in Mexico (Oaxaca/Chiapas), aid to Harvey's victims, Florida's main highway congestion, gas not easily accessible, islands destroyed, lives lost, Myanmar, etc.

I was born on planet Earth, my ancestors were too; North America, Europe, Ireland, ...I came from the cold...Canada, I've seen few ice storms.

Science of nature and humanity is one of my hobbies, along with music and films and audio.

The only thing I can do @ this moment is pray, like I have been doing for the last while, for the people who lost everything, their identity as people from planet Earth, their lives, and the ones down south; Texas, Florida, the Caribbean Sea islands, Mexico, Asia, Burma, Bangladesh, ...

The rain, the floodings, the monsoons, the sea levels, the hurricanes, the earthquakes, ....they exist since the beginning of time, science is only starting in catching up by adding one plus one, with what we believe and with what is.

I can only pray...

The International Space Station passed over two major Atlantic hurricanes on Friday, Sept. 8. First, the station flew approximately 250
miles over Hurricane Jose at approximately 10:10 a.m. EDT while the Category 3 storm was in the Atlantic just east of the Caribbean.
One orbit of the Earth later, the station flew over Hurricane Irma at approximately 11:40 a.m. EDT. The powerful Category 4 storm
had already brought destructive wind and rain to islands across the Caribbean and is forecast to impact the Florida peninsula.
