    If the improvement is as great as that reportedly of the 1200G over the Mk2 and even the M5G and the Japan only Mk6 then SP10 lovers should be in for a real treat.

    I'm getting my first units of the 1200G this week (Technics US severely underestimated demand for those), but even the $1700 1200GR is mighty impressive.

    Yes, that's what Bob said. So much better. Good thing I rarely spin the iron wheels these days else I'd be getting a pair of them. Feedback from a friend that does is that one needs to be careful with the brushed finish. I said it might be a concern for DJs like him but it shouldn't be an issue for the typically careful by habit home listener.

    No kidding I'd heard the new 1200 was good, but was skeptical. I'm hoping the new SP10R might stimulate Mk3 availability.
